Army Public School (APS) for Boys, Chaklala Garrison has been established to cater for the educational needs of the children of defence personnel at the station as well as the civilian population of surrounding areas.  The school is being run on APSACS system of education which aims at providing quality education to the students with a view to produce well-groomed, disciplined, responsible and patriotic citizens. The school has been registered with Army Public Schools and Colleges System (APSACS).

Army Public School (APS) for Boys/Girls, Chaklala Garrison aims at providing quality education and inculcating moral, intellectual and leadership qualities in the children in clean and healthy environments. The school has qualified and competent teaching staff ensuring that the education provided to the children is in consequence with the accepted principles of teaching to ensure that every student is given personal attention. Emphasis is laid on diligence, patriotism, integrity and good conduct. It also provides opportunities to the students to develop their mental and intellectual abilities in a way that they become highly motivated members of the society.
